Varicose veins in telugu - సిరలు అనేవి శరీరం నుండి గుండెకు రక్తాన్ని తీసుకువెళ్లే గొట్టాలు, సిరలు ఉబ్బి (3 మిమీ కంటే ఎక్కువ) మెలితిరిగితే, వాటిని వేరికోస్‌ వీన్స్‌ (ఉబ్బిన సిరలు) అని అంటారు. ఇవి శరీరంలో ఎక్కడైనా సంభవించవచ్చు, అయినప్పటికీ ఇవి కాళ్ళలో ఎక్కువగా కనిపిస్తాయి. సిరల యొక్క కవాటాలు (సిరల యొక్క లైనింగ్ పొర) లేదా గోడల బలహీనత వల్ల సిరల్లో ఒత్తిడి పెరుగుతుంది తద్వారా వేరికోస్‌ సిరలు అభివృద్ధి చెందుతాయి. ఈ లోపభూయిష్ట కవాటాలు సిరలను పూలింగ్‌కు గురి చేస్తాయి, అందువల్ల రక్తం గుండెకు తిరిగి సరిగ్గా పంపబడక కాళ్లు, చీలమండలు మరియు పాదాలలో చేరుతుంది.
