Pace Hospitals

Listen to

Gallbladder stones, or gallstones, are hardened deposits that form in the gallbladder and can lead to significant health issues. While many individuals remain asymptomatic, when symptoms do occur, they often manifest as biliary colic, characterized by severe pain in the upper right abdomen, nausea, and vomiting. In more severe cases, symptoms may escalate to include fever, chills, and jaundice, indicating potential complications such as cholecystitis or pancreatitis.

The risks associated with gallstones are notable; they can lead to serious complications including infections, gallbladder inflammation, and even an increased risk of gallbladder cancer. In this episode of the Gallbladder Stones Podcast, we'll look at the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of

gallstones.
